After two months of political and cultural programmes and events for Bologna Pride, it’s all come down to today, the big parade. The parade will first cross the whole city and then it will make its way through the small streets, ending in Piazza VIII Agosto.

There will be an information point in a place that well represents the city: Piazza Ravegnana. Until the end of the morning under the towers there will be an info point, a meeting point for the city right in the centre of town. When it hits 2.30pm the long line of celebrators will leave the piazza, which passing by Via S Stefano will join the carriages and carts that will leave from Giardini Margherita at 3.30pm
The parade will move along the streets of the city passing the most symbolic places for the LGBT community: the first Italian seat of a homosexual society, the historic Porta Saragozza, the monument dedicated to the homosexual victims of Nazism and Fascism, the Cassero gay and lesbian centre at la Salara. The parade ends in Piazza VIII Agosto alongside other Italian LGBT associations and will be followed by: ALCAZAR in concert. All logistical information needed to take part in the parade is given below:
2.00pm: Gathering of the parade in Piazza di Porta Ravegnana. From here the parade will leave at 2.30pm to head to Giardini Margherita, from where the Parade carts will leave to make its way across the city.
3.00pm: Gathering of people at Giardini Margherita (enter from Viale Giovanni Goazzadini) and shortly after which the parade will leave.
The parade will end alongside other Italian LGBT organisations, followed by The Alcazar in concert.

A double party dedicated to the international techno scene and the local and not-so local pop scene. Two rooms, a Techno-House with Ellen Allien, Electro Indigo & Female Pressure DJ DJing plus visual performers, the other an Animated Pop room (starting at 11.00pm) with Costantino Della Gherardesca and Fabio Canino con Fantastica!, and a show with Alessandro Fullin, Ennio Marchetto, Gennaro Cosmo Parlato, Platinette, Eva Robin’s, Immanuel Casto, LaLa McCallan, Minerva Lowenthal with her dance moves.Followed by music from: Poppen DJs, Trash Couture, Little Fluffy Luke, Miss Plug Inn live, Cash’n Ferry, Ruggero.
A third room is dedicated to the Bear World. Sala Bear Farm is a cultural and cultivating space for big, hairy men and all their friends. Music by Coco, Di T.Morris, Wawashi, Brandy Dj & Other friends.

How to reach the party:
By car: exit the motorway at junction (uscita tangenziale) no.7 BIS, heading to FERRARA, a few metres after exiting the motorway, on your right you will see the entrance to PARCO NORD.
By Bus: take bus no.25 from the Central Train Station and get off at Parco Nord and follow the signs. Or take bus no.68 right till the end of the line at CAMPING CITTA’ di BOLOGNA. From here you can enter Parco Nord via its Services Entrance (about 300m by foot).
